Experience

You gain experience by completing quests, killing monsters, getting a Strike (killing all monsters in an area), touching Exploration Poles, doing RDs, Penting, Long Tunnels…

You need experience to raise your stats so you get stronger. You also need experience to reach a higher level.

Experience Rewards

  • Killing Monsters
    • The base reward is equal to the monster level
    • The first time you kill a monster of it’s type, you get a bonus
  • Pentagram Quest
    • You get experience from killing monsters + ‘Solve exp’
    • Higher level pents give better Solve exp
    • Using 5 pentagrams of the same color in a row earns you bonus Solve exp
    • Using a ‘Lucky Pentagram’ earns you bonus Solve exp
    • Solving the Pentagram Quest earns you bonus Solve exp
  • Random Dungeons
    • Exp is capped at +5 your level
    • Continuity Shrine
      • ( (RD_number + 1)^4 – (RD_number)^4 ) / 6
      • Example: Continuity Shrine in RD 36 gives (37^4 – 36^4)/6 = 32.424 Exp
    • Bribery Shrine
      • 2 x Continuity Shrine Exp
    • LOE Shrine
      • unknown at this point
    • Bravery Shrine
      • 546.415 exp (capped below lvl 46)
  • Long Tunnels
    • Regular exp reward
      • ( (Tunnel_number + 1)^4 – (Tunnel_number)^4) / 10 / (times_done+1)
      • Example: Tunnel lvl 34, done 3 times gives (35^4-34^4)/10/4 = 4.107 Exp
  • Questing
    • Some quest are repeatable. First time gives 100% of exp reward, next times give less:
      • 1st time: 100%
      • 2nd time: 82%
      • 3rd time: 68%
      • 4th time: 56%
      • 5th time: 46%
      • 6th time: 38%
      • 7th time: 31%
      • 8th time: 26%
      • 9th time: 21%
      • 10th time: 17%
    • Quest exp is capped if you do the quest too early

Military Experience

Military Experience is needed to increase your Military Rank. Higher ranked players get higher Pentagram Quest missions, better experience in Ice Army Caves and stronger escorts in Fire Underground.

You can earn Military experience by doing Pentagram Quest missions, Long Tunnels, Rodneys Warped World or as a rewards from some quests (Fire Underground, Clara, Kelly…).
