Story
After completing Gwendylon’s series of quests, travel to Papa Bear’s Tavern to inquire for more work.
Upon arriving at the tavern Guiwynn will ask for your assistance. She mentions that she used to teach at the Order of Mages, but when she went there, they attacked her and she barely managed to escape.
She believes that they have gone mad but does not wish to go back there so she asks you to investigate. She suspects that a disease or some sort of potion is the cause.

To complete this quest, the player must:
- Recover the Potion of Happiness and return it to Guiwynn.
Quest Walkthrough
After leaving Papa Bear’s Tavern head south-east. You’ll come across a building with a sign outside it that says “The Order of the Mages”. Enter the building and go into the next room. Head to the bottom of the corridor and go into the north-eastern room. Inside are two level 7 Mad Mages. One of them has the Happiness Potion. Loot it and return to Guiwynn.

Notes
- It’s worth repeating this quest at least six times.
- It can be a good idea to complete this quest at the same time as The Recipe for Happiness.
- Experience cap for this quest is based on half your experience bar. For example, completing this quest at level 6 will give you 552 experience.
Glitches
- Sometimes Guiwynn won’t give you this quest even after you have completed all of Gwendylons quests and haven’t left any of them open. To fix this return to Gwendylon and make sure he says “I have no more work for thee, [player name].” When you go back to Guiwynn she should now give you the quest.
